Wilbert F. Harper (HEPHZIBAH, Ga.)

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Wilbert F. Harper entered into rest Saturday, November 22, 2008, at his residence, Mr. Wilbert F. Harper, 65, husband of Beverly S. Harper. Mr. Harper was a native of Scottsville, KY and had lived in the Augusta area since 1971. He served in the US Army. Mr. Harper was an avid fisherman, family man, and loved gardening. He became a Catholic at Easter of 2007 and was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Family members in addition to his wife include his sons: Will Harper Jr. and wife Lynn of Ramseur, NC, John Harper and wife Dawn of Randleman, NC, Rev. Blase Mancine and wife Cheryl of Trenton, SC, James Mancine and wife Dawn of Ft. Hood, TX; daughters: Michelle Hammons and husband Tim of Randleman, NC, Cheryl Schimmel of Thompson Falls, MT, 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated today Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 12:15 P.M. at The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with Rev. Timothy Donahue celebrant.
