DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - David McBride, 57, of Deerfield Beach, Fla., entered into rest Friday, November 14, 2008. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2008 at the Sweetwater Baptist Church in North Augusta, S.C. David was the son of the late William Henry McBride, Sr. and Frances Nash McBride. He was a graduate of North Augusta High School and a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. His hobby was fishing and boats. David had been employed for 35 years at Smurfit Stone Container as a Manager. In addition to his wife, Terri McBride, he is survived by two daughters, Shara McBride of Deerfield Beach and Shannon McBride Day of Batesburg, S.C.; three grandchildren, Haylee McBride of Deerfield Beach and Ryan Day and Alyson Day of Batesburg; a sister, Lynn L. McBride of North Augusta; and two brothers, Glenn P. (Rocky) McBride and William (Billy) H. McBride, Jr. of North Augusta. David will be remembered by his family and friends for his wonderful sense of humor and his practical jokes. He will truly be missed by all.
