What is it?
From Staff
Friday, November 21, 2008

Last week's What Is It? photo showed the rear fender of the 2009 Dodge Durango hybrid, a new model. (For a review and photo of the SUV, look elsewhere in this section.)

Chosen randomly from the correct readers was Holli Gantt, of North Augusta, who wins a gift from The Augusta Chronicle.

Other correct entries came from:

AIKEN: Bob Hardt

APPLING: Marquita Marshall

AUGUSTA: Alexia Roundtree, Tennille Williams and David Clanton Jr., who pointed out that we showed you the hybrid model of the Durango.

CUMMING, GA.: Chris Rhodes

EVANS: Jerry Paul, Drew Clark, Wayne Wilke and Emily Strickland

GROVETOWN: Janet Rush

MARTINEZ: Tobey MacKendree

NEW ELLENTON: Larry McClain

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA.: Warren Franklin

NO CITY GIVEN: Joel Ramsey and Willie Williams

Now, let's go back in time. Take a look at the photo of the 1999 vehicle and tell us the make and model. Here's a hint: This model is no longer manufactured in the 21st century. Leave a message at (706) 823-3419 or send e-mail to glynn.moore@augustachronicle.com.

Please tell us your name (and its spelling), city and phone number.

The deadline is noon Wednesday, and if your entry is randomly picked from among the correct answers, you will get a gift from The Chronicle.

The names of all correct guessers will be published Friday. Thanks again, car enthusiasts.
