David J. 'Jim' Howe (HEPHZIBAH, Ga.)

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Entered into rest Monday, November 17, 2008, Mr. David J. "Jim" Howe, 66, husband of Joyce J. Howe. Mr. Howe was a native of Cape Girardeau, MO and had resided in Hephzibah for the past 13 years. He was a US Army Veteran, an instructor with Augusta Tech for 10 years and a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. Family members in addition to his wife include his sons and daughter- in-law: Cary Howe of Rock Hill, SC; Chris and Julie Howe of Tega Cay, SC; 3 grandchildren; sisters: Judy Howe of Baton Rouge, LA, Cathy and Danny Ziegler of Baton Rouge, LA and brother: Richard and Dollie Howe of Suffner, FL. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church with Rev. Edward C. Rees and Rev. Robert F. Hunt officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. Memorial may be made to St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 3551 Wheeler Rd., Augusta, GA 30909.
