After the election results, whines and complaints were all that was heard from most Republicans and non-Obama teenage supporters. Most of them are mainly complaining due to his race or party. I am, too, a Republican, but instead of getting angry I chose to read up on the facts and hope for the best. We really do need change anyway, and who knows, maybe Obama is the person for it. So, all of you out there, Republican or Democrat, black or white, read the facts and just wait and see what happens. -- 15, Greenbrier High School student, Evans

I just want to say how proud I am of my school for coming in first at the Region 3-AAAA one-act play competition on Nov. 1. They performed the play Moon Over Buffalo and did an amazing job. It just amazes me that they competed against Davidson Fine Arts and came out of the competition ahead of them. Many don't know this though because Davidson gets so much hype about being such an amazing school and program. There are other schools out there (that) have a lot to offer. Don't pass them by just because they don't have a fancy name. -- 18, Harlem High School student, Grovetown

Congratulations to all the magnificent people chosen for this year's Pack Players Spring Musical! Yeah! -- 16, Greenbrier High School, Evans

I would like to compliment the Xtreme section. I believe that they are doing a very good job of conveying issues that we, as teens, care about. This section provides us with the necessary information that we need at a maturity level that is appropriate, along with a twist of young-adult flavor! Nice work! --14, Greenbrier High School, Augusta

Attention girls with ugly extensions and horribly bleached bangs: you look stupid. Are you the victim of a practical joke? Please look in the mirror. -- 16, Greenbrier High School, Evans

To the cast and crew of Alice in Wonderland: you won for Sexiest Show Ever. -- 17, John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School, Augusta

Go a little crazy. Dance in the street. Because life is short when you're young. -- 16, Greenbrier High School, Evans
