AUGUSTA, Ga. - Madeline Maddox, 86, entered into rest Thursday, November 13, 2008 in Seminole, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Dayspring Baptist Church, 4220 Frontage Road, Augusta, Georgia 30909 with Pastor Jackie Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Mrs. Maddox was preceded in death by her husband, Pinkney DeWitt Maddox, Sr.; daughters, Mary Findley, Theresa Watson and a granddaughter, Mary Capps. She is survived by a son, P. DeWitt (Teri) Maddox, Jr., Savannah, Georgia; daughters, Kathie (Lyle) Zarbeck, Seminole, Florida, Elizabeth (Rod) Kresge, Kennesaw, Georgia; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
