EVANS, Ga. - Passed into the hands of the Lord on Sunday, November 16, 2008, Mr. Charles Brandon Gorse, 52, beloved father and husband of 26 Ú years to Sandra Phillips Gorse. Mr. Gorse was born in Hampton, VA to the late August Henry Gorse III and Katrina Kneller Gorse. He had worked for Southern Siding and Window Company for a number of years and was the General Sales Manager. He was a member of the Augusta Archaeological Society as well as the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Family members in addition to his wife include his son: Brandon A. Gorse; daughter: Ashlyn J. Gorse. He is also survived by his brother August H. Gorse IV (Sandy) and his wife Elizabeth (Beth) as well as one niece and two nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor David Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 19, 2008, from 7 until 9 P.M. Internment will be held at Westover Memorial Park.
