CLEARWATER, S.C. - Mr. John Michael 'Mike' Cook, 50, of Clearwater, died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at the Medical College of Georgia. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Cemetery in Trenton. Mr. Cook was a member of Trenton United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Strom Thurmond High School in 1976. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years and was currently serving as Postmaster of the Warrenville Post Office. Survivors include one son, John Mitchell Cook, Beech Island; his parents, John Raymond and Barbara Jean Thomas Cook, Trenton; one sister, Gayle (Eddie) Wilson, Edgefield; one brother, Thomas (Brenda) Cook, Trenton; maternal grandmother, Doris Salter Thomas, Johnston; one step-daughter, Brandy Martin, North Augusta; two nieces, Allyson Wilson and Kelsey Cook; three nephews, Justin Wilson, Josh Wilson, and Collin Cook; his fianc, Sheila Miller, Clearwater. He was predeceased by maternal grandfather, James O. Thomas, Johnston and his paternal grandparents, Claude H. and Ruby Langley Cook, Trenton.
