This world wide recession proves conclusively we are not all in the same sinking boat. We are all in different sinking boats.
In fact, each state in the nation is fighting for its own survival.
The blue states, macrocosms of socialism, are now in economic meltdown and demanding federal bailouts.
To do so would, however, reward bad behavior. In fact, buying anything from a blue state will only reward bad behavior and give Barack Obama a second term.
When I buy a car or other product, it will be produced or manufactured in a red state if at all possible.
As I said before we are not all in the same sinking boat, but the Democrats will try to force that argument.
And Paul Broun was "spot on." Paul's detractors including this paper, were hoping calling him a racist would divert attention from their own guilt. You people need to "man up." Telling the truth is not racism.

If I were to write comments of such ignorant proportions such as this one by Milton Gresham, I would surely sign a ficticious name to it.
Even if you were right about different sinking boats, would we not all sink? Here's a novel idea. Why don't we let Obama preside over the blue states & McCain can preside over the red states. We can fight a war between the two and let the victor rule for four years. Then we can do it all over again. Civil strife has proved to be so economically advantageous for many 3rd & 4th world countries. We could save all those auto makers with orders for more tanks & humvees. This would be great for America..
As posted before, Texas is the only red state that sends in more federal taxes than it receives in return. Let every state break even and see how the red states fare.
Here's another idea, why don't you blue-states take our blue voters and we wouldn't be taking in more than we dole out. You game?

jtf, tooooo funny! By the way, I know Gresham (had the misfortune of having to "work" with him. Work is in quotes 'cause I never saw him do any. He is another Vietnam draft dodger. As for what cars I buy, they AIN'T made in detroit or Atlanta. I prefer German or Japanese brand cars as they have quality and will last longer than the five years they are financed for by the average buyer.
