THIS IS A BIG RANT to the person or persons who stole my dog out of my yard (you know who you are) on U.S. Highway 25 in North Augusta. I just want you to know your selfish act has broken our hearts. Just bring him back ... no questions asked.

BARACK OBAMA, SCION OF THE CHICAGO POLITICAL MACHINE, now has his chief-of-staff. He's chosen Rahm Emanuel, another smooth-talking madman from the Chicago political machine. And Sen. Lindsey Graham says Emanuel is a "wise choice." Now, South Carolina, aren't you sad you re-elected Graham?

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK Rodney from the Aiken AT&T store. He went above and beyond our expectations to make sure that my husband and I had a happy experience with AT&T.

A BIG RAVE for the new Kroger in North Augusta. I love the new store and all of its features. They are a little pricier on some of the same items as the store across the street but for the most part great. Now if we could put a JoAnn's craft store in the old Kroger we would have something in North Augusta that we don't have and fill up a now vacant building. Then I wouldn't have to go to Augusta for anything other than work and, of course, Sam's. Maybe we will get one of those one day.

THIS MESSAGE GOES OUT to all big trucks, those that carry gas, toxic waste, logs and whatever else. We are watching you! Every time we see you speeding, running red lights and switching lanes without proper signals, we are getting your company's number and tag off the truck and calling it in to your boss and the police.

ON SATURDAY, NOV. 1, I was at the local Comcast office to get a remote control. When I arrived, 25 people were in line for service. I waited for an hour, and when I left, 45 people were in line. Several people left rather than wait for service. Why were only two customer service stations open, with three being closed? It seems to me that service needs to improve.

I JUST WISH that everyone would sit back and give our new president a chance. We have given the many that came before him a chance. So now let us all sit back and watch this great man make a change in all of our lives.
