AUGUSTA, Ga. - Herbert Balquet, 73, husband of Linda Balquet of Peach Orchard Rd. entered into rest Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, (today) November 14, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Deacon Gregory Bernard officiating and Military Honors. Mr. Balquet was a native of Louisiana and a veteran of the United States Army with twenty years service. He served in Vietnam and was Catholic. Additional survivors include; seven children, eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
