AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Ingeburg Luise Gotter Kelly entered into rest on Thursday, November 13, 2008. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. She was born in Altenburg, East Germany, June 7, 1926. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gustav Gotter and Luise Ketterer Gotter. Two brothers, Heinz and Rolf and one sister, Hildegard. Her parents were born 1888, Albert Gotter was a guard for the Keiser. Mr. Gotter was the great, great grandson of Gustav Adolf VonGotter, all who are deceased. Ingeburg married Malcolm W. Kelly in Stone Mountain, Georgia, by Dr. Crow. She worked for Stuttgart Post at Nelligan Barracks AYA, in Nelligan, Germany, with American Youth Activities. Returning to Germany, was sent to Italy to join Malcolm at Vieenza, Italy in 1962. She was a loving wife and a wonderful person. As part of her diet, the doctor told her to live on greens as much as possible. She became president of the Fort Gordon's Ladies Golf Association. She loved all golfers and remarked "Golfers are the best people on earth." Viewing will be at Elliott Sons Funeral home on Lumpkin road on Saturday, November 15, 2008 from 6-8 PM. Pallbearers will be Dennis Trudeau, Bob Morris, Edward Brown, Clem Harrell, Dennis Nixon, Wayne Keith. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1365 Interstate Parkway, Augusta, Georgia, 30909.
