Exactly Mr. Warner, Why do we need two armies? Would the "New" one be controlled by the President, without the control of Congress at the purse strings? Would this "New" Army replace the National Guard which is controlled by the state Governors and the President? What would be the objective of forming a "New" Security Force, to wrangle control into the hands of the President and to fund it without the oversight of Congress? Would the creator of this "New" Security Force's real aim be to Re-instate the "Draft"? These are troubling questions and not a racist plot in sight. Have fun with these, as i'm sure you will, Obamanation.

Guys, please. I did not vote for Obma, but some of you are going too far. Common sense & plain truth are weapons that should never be used in politics. The reason Obama should be allowed to have this new army is simple and well intended. We are currently involved in two wars and our troops are stretched thin fighting to ensure our safety & freedom. Who would have time to check our papers??? Who would ensure the crowds showed up at political rallys? Who would stand guard at voting locations? Who would enforce the Fairness Doctrine for talk radio? Who would be in the studio with Rush & Sean & Neal & Herman to ensure free speech was directed in the correct manner? I make fun. I use humor sometimes to make a point. But I truly feel this president elect is not good for America and especially not good for our economy or our freedoms.

The reason the Republicans lost the last election is displayed handily in this flap over a new national security force, i.e. the Republicans can't distinguish fact from fiction and don't bother to educate themselves. In his speech, Obama was talking about a national service organization, NOT a national police force.
