The 10th annual Kicks 99 WKXC-FM Guitar Pull concert continues the station's tradition of bringing rising stars and established acts to the Augusta area .

Formatted as a social gathering, the concert features all the artists sitting together on-stage. Each takes a turn telling stories, singing a song and perhaps commenting on the work of another. Here are mini profiles of the performers:

James Otto

STYLE: Nashville outlaw

BEST KNOWN FOR: His 2008 album Sunset Man, his appearance in Road House 2 and being a charter member of Nashville's MuzikMafia

LISTEN OUT FOR: Just Got Started Lovin' You and Sunset Man

FACTS:

-- His first guitar was salvaged from a neighbor's trash

-- Early influences included Led Zeppelin

-- Big 'n Rich star John Rich call him "The Biggest Voice in Country"

Sara Evans

STYLE: Traditional country

BEST KNOWN FOR: Her 200 album Born to Fly, the 2005 hit Real Fine Place and competing on Dancing With the Stars

LISTEN OUT FOR: Born to Fly, Real Fine Place and perhaps her breakout cover of Buck Owen's

FACTS:

-- Got her start at 4-years-old singing with her family's band

-- She was picked out by George Jones to open a special concert in Nashville

-- She was an audience favorite on Dancing With the Stars before she withdrew from the contest for personal reasons

Luke Bryan

STYLE: Rural country

BEST KNOWN FOR: The 2007 album I'll Stay Me

LISTEN OUT FOR: All My Friends Say, We Rode in Trucks, Country Man

FACTS:

-- He was raised on a west Georgia peanut farm

-- Early influences included George Strait, Conway Twitty and Merle Haggard

-- Worked in his family's fertilizer business after college until his father told him to move to Nashville or be fired

Lady Antebellum

STYLE: Country pop

BEST KNOWN FOR: The breakout 2008 debut Lady Antebellum

LISTEN OUT FOR: Love Don't Live Here, Long Gone, I Run to You

FACTS:

-- Two of the three members, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, hail from Evans

-- Early demos were recorded in Mr. Kelley's brother Josh's home studio. Josh Kelley is also a well-known singer-songwriter

-- The trio followed the release of their debut album with an appearance at the Grand Ole Opry

Rodney Atkins

STYLE: Contemporary country

BEST KNOWN FOR: The 2006 album If You're Going Through Hell

LISTEN OUT FOR: My Old Man, Watching You

FACTS:

-- Didn't start playing guitar until high school

-- Spent two years recording an album that was not released

-- Recorded his 2006 album If You're Going Through Hell in his home studio

Kristy lee cook

STYLE: Country pop

what: Ms Cook replaces Joe Nichols, who canceled his performance

BEST KNOWN FOR: American Idol! contestant, finished seventh last year

LISTEN OUT FOR: 15 Minutes of Shame, I Think Too Much

FACTS:

-- Oregon native sold her barrel race horse to help defray costs for her trip to Philadelphia to try out for American Idol!
