The Augusta Bar Association made a $10,000 donation to Lynndale Inc., a private, nonprofit support service that provides disabled people and their families cost-effective support, training, and community resources.

Lynndale Inc. is the association's charity for the year through its Raising the Bar Campaign.

The donation came from the proceeds of the annual Mulherin Plaid Golf Tournament on Sept. 18 at Forest Hills Golf Club, derived from sponsorships, team entry fees, mulligans and raffles.

The money was presented at Lynndale school Wednesday.
