DETROIT --- Jaguars receiver Matt Jones injured his thigh against the Detroit Lions and left the game in the third quarter.
Jones had a team-high five receptions for 62 yards Sunday when he was sidelined after helping the Jaguars take a 24-point lead.
Coach Jack Del Rio said after the game the injury wasn't serious and Jones could have returned.
l Linebacker Mike Peterson , sent home early in the week from practices for disciplinary reasons, didn't dress for Sunday's game.
VIKINGS: Cornerback Charles Gordon was carted off the field in the second quarter against Green Bay after a gruesome ankle injury on a punt return.
Coach Brad Childress said Gordon needed to have a pin inserted into his leg, indicating a bad break, and he's undoubtedly lost for the rest of the season.
l Defensive end Jared Allen was in the starting lineup despite being listed as doubtful with a sprained shoulder.
Allen had a sack, a safety and countless quarterback pressures in a victory over Green Bay.
