GIRARD, Ga. - Mr. Thomas Michael Oglesby, age 51, entered into rest at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008. Mr. Oglesby was the son of the late Tom and Florence Hillis Oglesby. He was a 1976 graduate of SGA High School, a graduate of MCG PA Program and had retired as a Captain after 22 years from the US Air Force. Funeral services with full military honors for Mr. Oglesby will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Girard, GA, 11:00 AM. He will lie in state for one hour prior to the hour of service. Officiating will be Rev. Ralph Widener assisted by military personnel. Serving as pall bearers will be members of the military. Mr. Oglesby is survived by one brother, Jimmy Oglesby, Waynesboro, GA, two sisters, Linda Oglesby, Waynesboro, GA and Patricia (Robert) Hammock, Sardis, GA, six nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Robertson's Heritage Chapel, 220 East 6th Street, Waynesboro, GA on Tuesday evening, Nov. 11, 2008, from 6-8 PM.
