HARLEM, Ga. - Marlin Dennis Jones, Sr., 71 entered into rest Saturday, November 8, 2008 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in the Westover Memorial Park, Augusta, Georgia. Family will assemble at the Graveside. Mr. Jones was a native of Augusta and a member of Our Lady Queen of Angels, Thomson, Georgia. He served in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his son, Marlin D. Jones, Jr., Hephzibah, Georgia; a daughter, Marlene McCabe of Harlem; and a stepdaughter, Helen Turner. Additional survivors include four grandchildren, Marlin Dennis Jones, III, Christopher Michael Carroll, Gabrielle Ramos, Brandy Taylor. Family requested no visitation.
