AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Gerald D. "Jerry" Kasawich, 63, entered into rest on Saturday, November 8, 2008, at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 2:00 pm, in the Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with Pastor Terry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Graniteville Cemetery, Graniteville, SC. Mr. Kasawich was a native of Augusta and a lifelong resident, of the Harrisburg Community. He was a veteran, of the U. S. Navy during the Viet Nam War, was an employee of the Clearwater Finishing Plant, for 20 years and the Sibley Mill, for 20 years and was an avid "Pool Player". He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Dwayne and Bobbie Jo Kasawich, of Belvedere, SC, daughter, Penny Odiorne, of Augusta and grandchildren, Brittany Odiorne, of Augusta, Jessie Swygert, of Belvedere, SC and Jason Swygert, of Danville, PA. The family will receive friends this evening, Monday, November 10, 2008, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Platt's Crawford Avenue.
