I think it is shameful what the Republican Party is trying to do to Sarah Palin after the election by making her look like either a manipulative, vindictive diva or a complete idiot or both.
I first heard this on Fox News Thursday morning, then later on several other media, including Austin Rhodes. The fact that these are "unidentified" sources makes it worse. If you are going to engage in a personal attack, at least have the guts to do so publicly so the "charges" can be refuted.
And the McCain campaign can't figure out why they lost. Because they are stupid!

You well see more attacks on Palin periodically to keep up the image she is a dolt,(sort of like they tried to do with the amiable dunce Ronald Reagan), this will keep her from being a political force in 2012. Eventually these lies will become the "truth " about Palin making her damaged goods!
It should be clear by now that I was not an Obama supporter. But how did he insult Nancy Regan? It was a joke people. Mrs Regan did consult astrologers. Both parties need to lighten up a bit.
I think McCain should have made some some kind of public statement chastising the anonymous sources of the criticism. They were probably made by male chauvinist pigs who are afraid a woman might upset their apple cart. Or perhaps by a jealous woman.
BTW, I don't dislike Hillary, Pelosi, Boxer, & McKinney for being women in politics, I dislike them for the same reason I dislike Harry Reid, Bill Clinton, and Barak Obama, and Ted Kennedy. I dislike them for their liberal ideas on how to run this country and what laws should be passed. Pelosi and Reid are dictators in the House & Senate, controlling what bills will be voted on and what ones will not. Now we will have a willing accomplice in the executive office who will probably get the chance to appoint dictators to the Supreme Court. Then all three branches will have dictators in them and "checks & balances" will go out the window.
Palin is what she is, no different now than she was before she was selected. If she is a bad choice now, she was a bad choice period. McCains handlers don't want to admit error and need a scapegoat for the dismal way they performed.

According to the writer who broke the story of Palin and "continent", he nows says that was not exactly what she said. Palin was being briefed on foreign issues and she repeated what her briefer told her. She should have been more careful but have you read all the flub-up Joe Biden has made? He makes Plain look like a genius.
The lies and "twisted truths" made public about Palin were an attempt to make a few McCain staffers appear more attractive to the muck raking left....the ones doing the hiring now that the campaign is over. Everyone of the staffers spreading these lies should be outed and ostracized by all political parties (except Dem).

Gunyby, a couple of staffers are hardly representative of the party. The FOX report on the gossip seems to have legitimized the baseless rumors for some. The gloating and baiting is the right of the victors, though.
