AIKEN, S.C. - Gloria Diane Floyd-Phinizy, age 53, went home to be with Jesus on October 20, 2008 while hospitalized at the Pacific Hospital in Long Beach, Calif. She was born in Aiken, S.C. to the late Reverend Nathaniel Floyd and Sara Ella Myers Floyd. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Indian Grove Baptist Church in Aiken, S.C. with Rev. Anthony Wilson, officiating. The Aiken High Class of 1973 will be honorary flower bearers & pall bearers. Interment will follow at church cemetery. Memorial acknowledgments to son, Charles W.
