Got your number
This story comes by way of the Internet:
A Georgia State Patrol trooper pulls over a Buick with Florida plates that was creeping down the highway near Augusta.
"What have I done wrong, officer?" its driver asked.
"You were going 20 mph," the trooper told him. "There's a law against driving too slowly."
"But when I entered the highway, the sign said '20,' " the driver said.
The trooper laughed.
"That's because this is Interstate 20! The 20 isn't the speed limit; it's the number of the highway."
As the enlightened driver dug for his license, the trooper saw a woman in the passenger seat; she was as pale as a ghost.
"What happened to her?" the trooper asked.
"I don't know," the driver said, "but she has been that way ever since we got off Interstate 95."
