Palin has run things, Obama hasn't
Letter to the Editor
Monday, November 03, 2008

I must write in response to the letter "President Palin is a chilling idea."

I can't understand how people keep trying to say that we should be worried about the possibility of Sarah Palin being president if anything happens to John McCain. I am not worried in the least bit about that. Anyone with half a brain should realize that of the four people involved in this election, Sarah Palin is the only one that is experienced in any kind of executive work.

Senators or congressmen don't run anything. They just vote yes or no, (or, in Obama's case, he votes present) on ideas that are brought forth. Mrs. Palin, however has run a state; and she has done a remarkable job at it. As far as anyone knows, Obama has never so much as run a neighborhood watch campaign.

I am voting for experience, morals, and a return of this country to the principles on which it was founded.

Mike Stowell, New Ellenton, S.C.
