Johnnie Lee Heggs (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Johnnie Lee Heggs, of Daniel Street, entered into rest Monday, October 27, 2008 at the V.A. Medical Center, DD. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Bussey officiating. Burial will be in Gordon Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Louisville, Ga. He was a native of Jefferson County, Ga. and a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors are his wife, Thelma Mason; six sons, Lawrence Davis, Louisville, Ga., Johnnie Heggs, Macon, Ga., Levi Heggs, Pelham, Ga., Jerome Blount, Benjamin Heggs, Freddie Heggs, all of Augusta; five daughters, Malvenia Jones, Janie Dixon, Annette Heggs, Mary Holmes, Pearl Heggs, all of Augusta; aunt; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
