Bessie Ruth Everson (PEMBROKE PINES, Fla.)

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. - Mrs. Bessie Ruth Hughes Everson, 89, loving wife of the late Mr. Albert C. Everson, of Wilmington, Del., entered into rest Wednesday, October 29, 2008 in Florida. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Martin officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Everson was a native of Gibson, Ga., where she was born on the family farm and graduated from Gibson High School and attended Georgia A&M College. She is survived by a son, Mr. David Everson and his wife Barbara of Marco Island, Fla. Grandchildren are Mrs. Donna Pearl and her husband David of Weston, Fla. and their two children Andrew and Alec; Mrs. Dawn Crockett and her husband Daniel of Gettysburg, Pa. and their two children Kaitlyn and Colton; Mr. David Everson, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Chesapeake City, Md. and their two children Nicholas and Dominick; four brothers, Mr. David C. Hughes and his wife Julia, Mr. Robert Hughes and his wife Elizabeth, Mr. George O. Hughes, and Mr. Gene Hughes. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Crockett and Anne May Dismuke Hughes.
