AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Jeanette Holmes, 43, of Augusta, Ga., wife of Billy Holmes, entered into rest on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at Noah's Ark Missionary Baptist Church in Keysville, GA on November 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Mrs. Holmes was born in Augusta, GA and was a faithful member of the Noah's Ark Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed at Serenity Behavioral Health Systems as a Medical Records Clerk for 7 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Lucious McBride, brother Phillip McBride and sister Nellie Ann Carpenter. She leaves to cherish a devoted husband of 22 years, Billy Holmes, two sons: Brandon and Deon; one daughter: Tiffany; her mother: Fannie McBride; mother in law Gussie Lee Lawson; five sisters: Elease Williams (Sylvester) of Augusta, GA, Joanne Williams of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Mary Jane (Bob) Wimberly, Brenda McBride, and Glenda (Xavier) Wimberly of Waynesboro; eight brothers: James McBride of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Lucious (Phyllis) McBride, Roger (Rose) McBride, Davie (Rosie) McBride, Melvin (Mary) Brown, Melvin McBride, Alfred (Margaret) McBride, and John McBride, all of Waynesboro, GA ; two aunts; five uncles; seven brother-in-laws; seven sister-in- laws; and a host of nieces and nephews.
