LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. William Boyce Paradise, Sr., 75, of Washington Hwy., Lincolnton, died Wed., Oct. 29, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Fri., Oct. 31, 2008 at 3p.m. at Loco Baptist Church with Revs. Kenneth Jones and Terrell Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Hephzibah Baptist Church cemetery. Mr. Paradise, son of the late Jack and Clarice Childs Paradise, was born on Jan. 22, 1933. A lifelong resident of Lincoln County, he was retired from the State of Ga. Dept. of Transportation. Also, he was a member of Loco Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. Survivors: wife, Jean Colvin Paradise; daughters, Mary Goldman and husband, Racy, Lincolnton, Linda Johnson, and husband, James, Washington; sons, Billy Paradise, and wife, Faye, and Tommy Paradise and wife, Tomi, all of Lincolnton; 9 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild.
