WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Ms. Rosa Lee Young entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 24, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie (Adel) Young; a sister, Willie Mae Sapp and brother, Eseral Young. Rosa was the third born of thirteen children. Her celebration of life will be remembered by her 4 sisters and 6 brothers: Frankie Mobley, Mary Blassingame & Caroline Davis of Jonesboro, Ga., Leatha Sharpe of Waynesboro, Ga., Willie James Young and Johnny Young of Riverdale, Ga., Albert Young of Monmouth Junction, N.J., William Young of Newark, N.J., Jackie Young of Bishopville, S.C., and Larry Young of Henderson, N.C. Rosa's nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends will forever cherish her memories. A wake will be held at Phinazee & Son Funeral Home on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 7:00-8:00 p.m., Waynesboro, Ga. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Roberson Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Alvin Lewis officiating. The location is 985 Hwy. 24 West, Waynesboro, GA 30830.
