Wayne N. Swift (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Memorial services for Mr. Wayne N. Swift, 72, of Timothy Crossing Court, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest October 29, 2008, following a brief but courageous bout with cancer, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Finley Limehouse officiating. Mr. Swift was a native of Elizabeth, New Jersey, a former resident of Plant City, FL, having made North Augusta his home for the past year. He was a retired Engineer from American Bridge Division of U.S. Steel. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara E. Swift; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Jeffrey and Sharon Swift, Evans and Gregory Swift and Tracy Pirkle, Knoxville, TN; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie & Craig Sheffler, Palm Beach Gardens, FL; a brother, Harlan Swift, Valparaiso, IN; a sister, Marilyn Dottenwhy, Grand Rapids, MN; six grandchildren, Kevin Sheffler, Andrew Sheffler, Sam Swift, Allie Swift, Kathryn Swift and Caroline Swift.
