HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Entered into rest Monday, October 27, 2008 at her residence, Mrs. Cozette Philpot Houston of Teakwood Court. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 12:00 noon from The Historic Springfield Baptist Church, 114 12th Street, with Reverend Gustave Frazer officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Houston was affectionately known to everyone as "Sister." She was a long time member of Historic Springfield Baptist Church, where she was a Deaconess and a member of the Senior Choir. Survivors are three daughters, Beverly Andre Houston and Carol Yvonne Houston, both of Hephzibah and Elnore Houston, Fayetteville, GA; two sons, Franklin (Beulah) McClattie, Belvedere, SC and William S. Houston, Hephzibah, GA; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence Stokes and Willie James Collins; one sister, Lillie M.
