Edna Sharp Watts (AIKEN, S.C.)

AIKEN, S.C. - Edna Sharp Watts, 74, died Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at National Health Care, N. Augusta, SC. She was a native of Black Mountain, Tenn. and was a daughter of the late Narvil and Maxine Goodman Sharp. She moved to Aiken in 1963, and after leaving the area she returned to Aiken in 1998. She was a graduate of cosmetology school and owned her own business for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Donna (Bobby) Powers; grandchildren, Brandon (Nicole) Flynt, Lesley Powers; sisters, Maxine Chapman, Cleda Nelson; brothers, Clifford Sharp, Jerry D. Sharp. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by two brothers, Virgil and Larry Sharp. A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, at 11:00 AM at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC.
