WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Completed life's journey and entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 27, 2008, Mrs. Lillian Woodward Attaway, age 81 of Warrenville, S.C., wife of the late Elmore M. Attaway and daughter of the late Jesse Abner Woodward and the late Maggie Franklin Woodward. She is survived by a son, Stewart (Babb) Attaway of North Augusta, S.C.; sisters, Kathleen W. Barton and Jeanette Fulmer both of Graniteville, S.C. and Betty Moseley of Aiken, S.C.; and grandsons, Camron and Charles Attaway. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Beth and Phylis Attaway. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was a member of Gloverville Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends; however, there is a consolation in knowing that her wish of going to see her 'MaMa' and her 'Lord' has now been granted and her life has not ended, but just begun. We can only imagine what a glad reunion day they are now experiencing. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 4:00 PM at the Gloverville Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Youngblood officiating. She will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at the Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight, Wednesday, October 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Napier Funeral Home. The family would like to extend a heartfelt 'thank you' to her faithful caregivers, Carol Brantley and Julie Harris. Also, a special 'thank you' to Advantage Hospice and Home Care. Memorials, in Mrs. Attaway's honor, may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, S.C. Chapter, 107 Westpark Boulevard, Suite 150, Columbia, S.C. 29210 or to the Alzheimer's Association, S.C.
