Rosia Perrin-Morton (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Friday, October 24, 2008 at University Hospital, Mrs. Rosia Perrin-Morton, 92, of Northview Avenue, wife of the late Mr. Willie Morton. Funeral services will be conducted, today, Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Macedonia Baptist Church, Baston Road, Martinez, GA, with Reverend George Smith officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. The funeral procession will leave the residence at 1:15 p.m. Mrs. Morton was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she sang on the Senior Choir, president of the Willing Workers Club and member of Mose Morton Memorial Club. She was employed at Regional Youth Development Center in the Diagnostic Department for twenty-five years. She enjoyed her retirement for many years, before her health failed. Survivors are her daughter, JoAnn (George) Williams, Augusta, GA; two sons, Robert Morton, and Randolph (Earlene) Morton, Augusta, GA; thirteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
