Henrietta Odom Smith (BEECH ISLAND, S.C.)

BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Mrs. Henrietta Odom Smith, of Atomic Road, entered into rest Thursday, October 23, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Moses Missionary Baptist Church, 112 Walker Street, Augusta, with Rev. Willie Green officiating. Interment will be in Walker Memorial Park. Remains will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The funeral processional will leave 1586 Atomic Road, Beech Island, S.C., at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. in Peoples Funeral Home Chapel. She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband, Joseph "Lil Bubba" Smith; her mother, Ethel Odom; three sisters, Patricia (Jack) Hicks, Wanda Shelle (Mike) Lowe, Gwendolyn (Calvin) Williams, all of Augusta; two brothers-in-law, Thomas (Viola) Evans, Samuel Caper, of Philadelphia, Pa.; two goddaughters, Stephanie Foreman, Beech Island and Shamira Morrow, Atlanta, Ga.; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
