AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Johnnie Lee Heggs, of Daniel Street, entered into rest Monday, October 27, 2008 at the V.A. Medical Center, DD. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors are his wife, Thelma Mason; six sons, Lawrence Davis, Louisville, Ga., Johnnie Heggs, Macon, Ga., Levi Heggs, Pelham, Ga., Jerome Blount, Benjamin Heggs, Freddie Heggs, all of Augusta; five daughters, Malvenia Jones, Janie Dickson, Annette Heggs, Mary Holmes, Pearl Heggs, all of Augusta; aunt; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
