Betty Worley (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Memorial Services for Miss Betty Worley, 77, of North Augusta, who entered into rest October 25, 2008, will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Dr. James C. Adams officiating. Interment will be private. Miss Worley was a native of Atlanta, GA, a former resident of Constitution Drive, Martinez, GA, having made North Augusta her home for the past 10 years. She was a past member of the Augusta Tennis Center where she won several tennis tournaments in the late 1950's and early 1960's. Miss Worley retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Center and was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her sister, Gloria R. Wise, North Augusta; a niece and nephew Terri and Leary Bartels, North Augusta; nephews, Patrick Bartels and Jared Bartels; cousins, Jack Worley and Rufus G. Worley both of Atlanta.
