Valarie McClain Fortson (WRIGHTSVILLE, Ga.)

WRIGHTSVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Valarie McClain Fortson, wife of Mr. Timonthy Fortson of Cedar Creek Road entered into rest Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Trinity Hospital. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 10:00 AM with the Reverend Wayne Bruner officiating. Interment will follow in Paynes Chapel UMC Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. She was preceded in death by her father Willie McClain, Sr., brother, Eddie R. McClain and maternal grandparents Marie and Roger Jones and paternal grandfather Horace C. McClain. Other survivors include her mother Mae Jones Haley and her husband John of Roaring River, NC; brother, Willie McClain, Jr. of Augusta; paternal grandmother, Sallie Mae McClain of Augusta; step-brother, Richard Haley of Rock Hill, SC; step-sisters, Laura Westfall of Batavia, NY, Cindy Haley of Cheektowaga, NY and Penny Haley of Rochester, NY.
