NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Mildred Milligan Harrison, 85, who entered into rest October 23, 2008, will be conducted Monday morning at 11 o'clock from St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church. Father David F.O. Thompson officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Park. Mrs. Harrison was born in Augusta, Georgia on January 22, 1923 to the late Lawrence and Josie McMahon Milligan. She had made North Augusta her home for the past 56 years. She was a graduate of Tubman High School and Newberry College, a former employee of the Augusta Arsenal, Pacific Mills of Columbia and had taught school in the North Augusta Area for 28 years. Mrs. Harrison was a member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church and wife of the late John T. Harrison. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dee and Terry McLane, Edgefield; a son and daughter- in-law, John and Peg Harrison, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Derrick McLane, Kyle McLane and Christy Harrison; a brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Helen Milligan, Fernandina Beach, Florida; a sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Eugene Wolfe, Augusta. Pallbearers will be Jeff Owens, Richard Sligh, Joe McMahon, Pat McMahon, Gene Wolfe, Dr. Robert Buist and Larry Milligan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Sunday afternoon from 3 until 5.
