MARTINEZ, Ga. - Joan Williams, 67, entered into rest at University Hospital on October 23, 2008. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2008 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Williams. She was a retired Medical Transcriptionist at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Hospital. She is survived by sons, Larry S. (Avis) Thomas of Ammon, ID, Mark (Phyllis) Williams of N. Augusta, SC; sister, Nancy Foss of Augusta, GA; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Teddy. Memorial donations may be made to Golden Harvest or to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 6 - 8 pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Rd., Martinez, GA 30907, 706-868-9637.
