Carmine L. McCoy (RIVERDALE, PA)

RIVERDALE, PA- Ms. Carmine Lawana McCoy, 43, of Herndon Dairy Road, entered into rest Thursday, October 23, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, October 25, 2008 at First Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Alex Pope, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in Old Storm Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. McCoy attended Aiken County Public Schools and Aiken Technical College where she earned a certificate in Early Childhood Education. She was employed by Family Care, Inc., as a CNA. She was a member of First Providence Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Ashley R. Turner; two sons, Thomas Ricardo Turner and Terrance D. Turner; her parents, Jessie and Mattie McKie Price; three sisters, Toni Price, Renay (Rev. William) Thompson and Andrea "Lisa" Chavious; devoted friends, Jackie Dunn, Maggie Brown, Angie Broadwater and Robert Wallace; three nieces; two nephews; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. The remains will lie in state in the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Family and friends will assemble at the residence at 10:15 a.m. G.L.
