AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Susan F. Kovach, 50, of Augusta, GA, beloved wife of Richard Kovach and daughter of Robert Ford, Columbia, SC and Jean Horning, (Robert) Charleston, SC, died Thursday, October 23rd, 2008. Born in Aiken County, SC, she had lived in Augusta, GA, for the last three and one half years. Prior to her health declining, she had been a Secretary at several local businesses, the last being, Southern Eye Center. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church, Augusta, GA. Susan loved people and enjoyed bowling and camping. In addition to her husband and parents, family members include a daughter, April Harris, (Thomas) Warrenville, SC; son, Christopher Reames, Warrenville, SC; siblings, Carol Phillips, North Charleston, SC, LeAnne Decker, Summerville, SC, Debra Bemis, Miamisburg, OH and Donald Ford, Cummings, GA and a grandson, Connor Harris. At her request, Susan was cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, October 27th, 2008, at 11 o'clock at Providence Baptist Church, Augusta, GA, with Pastor Donald Prosser officiating. The family will greet friends Monday from 10 o'clock until the time of service at the church. The family has asked that memorials be made to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation.
