Margaret B. Sanders (LANGLEY, S.C.)

LANGLEY, S.C. - Mrs. Margaret B. Sanders, 80, of Langley, SC, wife of the late W.W. 'Junior' Sanders and daughter of the late Butler and Viola Atkinson Boyd, died Friday, October 24th, 2008, at her home. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she retired as a Sales Associate from the K-Mart Cooperation. She was a charter member of the former Piney Heights Baptist Church, now Lakeside Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. Sanders loved her grandchildren and enjoyed reading. Family members include her children, John W. Sanders, (Jody) Langley, SC, William Todd Sanders, (April) North Augusta, SC, Sandra Faye Sanders, Langley, SC and Carlene Griffin, (Ricky) Langley, SC; siblings, Sovern Boyd, Langley, SC, Ola Sims, Langley, SC and Caroline Shockley, Warrenville, SC; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 26th, 2008, at 2 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Tad Marshall and Rev. John George officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be D.T. Atkinson, Jr., Steve Berendsen, Julian Farmer, Larry Haney, Mike McElhaney and Tommy Padgett. The family has asked that if so desired, memorials be made to Heartland Hospice. Friends may call at the family residence.
