MARTINEZ, Ga. - Joan Williams, 67, of Martinez, GA, entered into rest at University Hospital on October 23, 2008. She is a retired Medical Transcriptionist from Dwight David Eisenhower Army Hospital. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2008 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Williams. She is survived by sons- Larry S. (Avis) Thomas of Ammon, ID, Mark (Phyllis) Williams of N. Augusta, SC, sister, Nancy Foss of Augusta, GA, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, and her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Teddy. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Golden Harvest or the American Cancer Society.
