AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at his residence, Mr. John Earl Clayton of Pate Avenue. Funeral services will be conducted, today, Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from Miles Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with Reverend Jerry Poole officiating and Reverend Dr. Walter E. Clayton, eulogist. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park with full military honors. The remains will lie in state at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
