TRENTON, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mr. William D. "Frenchie" Fournier, Sr., 77, of Windy Drive, Trenton, SC, who entered into rest October 24, 2008 will be conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Robert T. Huffman, Rev. J. Lloyd Prince and Mr. Nick Jeancake officiating. Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Mr. Fournier was a native of Fall River, Massachusetts having made Trenton his home for the past 29 years. He was a very active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and the Kitchen Committee Director. Mr. Fournier retired from the US Army with 23 years of service, a Korean War and Vietnam Veteran, retired from Gracewood State School and Hospital with 20 years of service and was employed with the Edgefield County Senior Citizens Council. He was the father of the late Randy Fournier. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Winona W. Fournier; two sons and a daughter-in-law, William Donald Fournier, Jr., Augusta and Loderick Paul and Susan Fournier, North Augusta; a daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Byron Fulmer, North Augusta; a sister, Doris Manning, Fall River, MA; 7 grandchildren, William Ray Fulmer, Dana Nichole Fulmer, Candace Aude Fournier, Nathaniel Paul Fournier, Jason Foster, Matthew Foster and Jonathan Foster. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 4 until 6. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 720 Mt.
