SPARTA, Ga. - Mr. Ben "Parchie" Butts, 88, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at Sparta City Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. He was a life long resident of Hancock Co., a Veteran of WW II and the Battle of the Bulge, retired from GA Dept. of Transportation, a member of the VFW and Pierce Memorial United Methodist Church.
