AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. MaryEllis Jones Izlar, 80, loving wife of the late Jack B. Izlar, Sr., entered into rest on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at University Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 24, 2008 at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Linda Birchall officiating. Mrs. Izlar was a native of Augusta and a member of St. James United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bridge and spending time with her family. Survivors include: her three sons, Jack B. Izlar, Jr. and wife, Patricia, of Bamberg, SC, Charles E. Izlar and wife, Janice, of Savannah, GA, and Robert K. Izlar and wife, Kay, of Plano, TX; four grandchildren, Lisa I. Janowicz, Ellis J. Izlar, Lauren P. Izlar, and Mark C. Izlar; and two great-grandchildren, Sofia C. Janowicz and Jake E. Janowicz.
