BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Ms. Fannie M. Devine of 1247 Pinegrove Road, Beech Island, S.C., entered into eternal rest on Tuesday evening, October 21, 2008 at the Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken, S.C., after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 1 p.m. from Old Storm Branch Baptist Church, Clearwater, S.C., with the Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Irvin, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Ms. Devine, a native of Aiken County, was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Willie J. (Ethel Wright) Devine. She was a devoted member of the Old Storm Branch Baptist Church, Clearwater, S.C. Survivors are: two (2) daughters, Ms. Margaret Ghant and Ms. Francine Ghant, both of Beech Island, S.C.; and one (1) son, Frederick (Laura) Devine, North Augusta, S.C.; three (3) sisters, Ida (William) Hynes, Mildred Devine and Delorise (Earl) Davis, all of Beech Island, S.C.; three (3) brothers, Albert (Carrie) Devine, Rev. Ronnie (Fannie) Devine and Willie Devine, all of Beech Island, S.C.; four (4) aunts, Rev. Harrie Dell Lewis, Carrie (James) Martin, Miriam Wright and Trannie Mae Samuels; two (2) grandchildren; one (1) great-grandchild; other relatives and caring friends. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, October 24, 2008 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. or at the residence. The remains will be placed in the church on Saturday, October 25, 2008 one (1) hour prior to the service. The funeral procession will leave the residence at 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2008.
