AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Saturday, October 18, 2008 at University Hospital, Mrs. Lula Anna Powell Trumpler of Winesap Way. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from Murphy Ebenzer Baptist Church with Reverend Claude C. Howard officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Trumpler was a home health care provider and a member of Murphy Ebenezer Baptist Church. Survivors are her children, Shirley Powell, Calvin Trumpler, Symyra (Tony) Gilbert, Reggie Trumpler, Stephanie Trumpler and Christina Statham, along with caring for a nephew, Keith Powell and niece, Wanda Powell; seven grandchildren, Gregory, Shannen, Teana, Xavier, Taylor, Erin and Tekiera; one sister, Norma P. Butler; eight brothers, Aaron Rhodes, Simon, J.D., Ben, Deacon Earnest, L.G., Archie, Frank and Arthur Powell; two aunts, Irene Elzie, Augusta and Ida Lockhart, Atlanta, GA; one great aunt, Martha Hilton, Savannah, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
