SALUDA, S.C. - James Oliver "Jimmy" Miller, 61, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Born in Saluda County and a son of the late Ben Tillman and Lorean Johnson Miller. He was formerly employed with South Carolina Department of Transportation. Surviving are three sons, James Nathan Miller of Newberry, Donald Inman Miller of Prosperity and Christopher Duane Miller of Newberry, a daughter, Elisa Marie Johnson of Chapin, a brother, Gerald Miller of Columbia, three sisters, Pearlious Bledsoe of Graniteville, Peatsa McDaniels of Lexington and Kay Newton of Lexington, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ace Lee Johnson, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
